In the loop of the A41, M25 and M1 is the large town of Hemel Hempstead. Home of the Magic Roundabout (Moor End Roundabout or The Plough Roundabout), where traffic from six routes meet. Hemel Hempstead is another New Town developed after World War II, planned to house the London Blitz affected population.
