We carry out residential structural survey and commercial survey in Hunsdon. Hunsdon is a town which is situated in Hertordshire.
In between Sawbridgeworth to the east and Ware to the west is the village of Hunsdon in Hertfordshire close to the M11 and not far from the M25 and A1(M). A lovely village that still has village facilities including a church, school and public houses, one of which is called the Fox and Hounds, we think the other one is called the Crown. It even has its own water pump although probably not working and a village shop called the Huns Stores which when we last visited even had half day closing on Tuesdays. It also has a petrol station that sells mainly petrol, which is something of a novelty with all the petrol stations that sell Costa Coffee or are joined up with someone such as Marks and Spencer. On the way out there is the quirky pigeon coop in one of the farmer's fields. It's well worth a drive out here to see a beautiful traditional English village and a village we frequently visit in our work surveying properties.
We find that there are some larger properties of note in Great Oak court and Acorn Street in Hunsdon and that there are a variety of ages of construction and styles of dwellings.
If you are planning to book a building survey on a property you are purchasing in Hunsdon or the surrounding area then we would like to assure you that we always send a suitably qualified and experienced surveyor to carry out the job. This ensures that you get expert advice on any issues that we may find with the property we are surveying. All our surveyors are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors - RICS - and are Independent Chartered Building Surveyors. Being 'independent' means that they are working for you and you alone; they do not work for a mortgage company or an estate agents, so they have your best interests at heart.
All our survey contain lots of images, clearly showing any problems that we have identified at the property such as woodworm, rising damp or cracking to the walls. We also use sketches in our survey which are aimed at helping you to understand how certain areas are constructed or to help show more clearly a problem that we have identified. You will also find lots of definitions of any building terminology that we may use in our survey, as we firmly believe in 'Plain English' and really want you to fully understand what we are saying in the survey report.
